Why did ***** gets killed in the end? *Spoiler alert*
So, why does Arthuro kills Sophie?
She is scheeming, but so are 99,99% of the vampires.
And she wasn't even scheeming in a right way, she was nowhere near jeopardizing Arthuro's rule, she was clueless, and there were like zillion of easier and quick ways of neutralizing her, or even manipulating her to his own interests.

Altough I really enjoyed this story (even the end that I am here criticizing!) I feel like this was a little forced to fit the plot twist.

Your subject for this post includes the spoiler you are warning against.

In other words, you are spoiling the game right now for anyone who hasn't played it through.

Maybe delete this and re-post it with no spoiler in the subject line and any spoilers in the body of your post should be covered with the spoiler tag.

No.
"the lady" can be every single female character, no identification of the killer (if there is even one), or who he might be. There is no way someone can read the title and know the answer to this question, so there is no spoiler other than "someone dies in the end", which is hardly surprising in a vampire the masquerade setting.
So please allow this discussion to continue unhindered.

It's a reverse Bambi story; mother-like figures dies at the end in a violent way.

Except there's literally one significant female character present at the end of the game, and only two significant female characters in the main story. So no-one with an iq above 70 is going to fail to instantly recognise who you're talking about.

It could have been Qadir, and the "lady" being irony. Or D'angelo or Kaiser or... you get it.

And who said the lady must be someone "significant in the main story"? Maybe they summoned a lady succubus at the ending, for example.
Or maybe Calihan was actually a Tzimisce woman that changed herself to appear an old haggard mob boss.

You are reaching SO far.

I told you way back that your post is a spoiler but you just got angry rather than fixing the issue.

I get that english might not be your first language (it's always a possibility on Steam and other places) but we are both trying to tell you that we both saw it and saw it as a spoiler. It's not fair to players who come to this game later and make the mistake of clicking on discussions or does so before buying the game even.

You're question is a good one and an interesting one, but you need to post it with a subject that states something like: Question about the ending.

Then you put the body of the post under the spoiler tags, that way no one can read it unless they mouse over it.

Everyone who has finished the game will then engage with your post.

New players, who have not finished the game yet, won't accidentally see your question and get spoiled.

It's simply being considerate of other players.

I'm sure you aren't the kind of person who sees a big popular film on the first night and then mass texts all your friends what happens in the movie, right? So please don't do the equivalent to this game in this forum.

Sophie was manipulated from the get go. Arturo is removing all threats to his power, but first he has to "out" the scheming Vampires by making them take action and go in the open (as he cannot just have a Vampire in particular a Primogen executed like that).

Essentially he gave all the keys to Sophie which made her think she was ahead of the game. IMO a little weak story point because you'd think someone would be suspicious to be fed info, and check the sources. Then again it might be a point about the naivety of her Toreador lineage. She's an emotional & beautiful woman but not smart enough for the scheming going on.

Yeah. Bought the game yesterday. Thanks. F you, sincerely.

Sophie suffers from Toreador syndrome she can't see the forest for the trees or the trees because she is to lost in the beauty of the leaves, Toreador are not thinkers they a doers and even then it's more spur of the moment actions then logical ideas. Sophie is likely lost in the very machinations she is setting up trying to make them all work like paint on a canvas to her it didn't matter where i came from it was just more paint in the scheme

You willingly entered a topic tagged as having spoiler, not only that you also had to unlock all the info that was hidden under the spoiler tag.
Grow up

The subject line alone is a spoiler. What we've been trying to relate to you.

Agreed.

And that's what makes it so interesting that Qadir, a Toreador, is such an efficient and insightful sheriff. He must spend so much of his time pushing back against his own nature. Sounds exhausting.

i think Qadir passions are in his work everything he says or does seems to be dipped deeply in baseball metaphors what's more we only ever see him when he is working as a Sheriff i think if we got some time to see his Haven or just talk to the guy about baseball instead of locking up with "..."

Interesting. Now I hope we at some point get an entry in this series where we learn more about him. I'm intrigued.

Eh should just black out "lady", I just finished it myself, its not a terrible spoiler, but still anyone who is into the story can easily ascertain 'lady' probably or can refer to *****.

Not a very good post in a forum like this..

Title should be why does ***** die at the end? That would be alright.

Perfect!
