Cloud sync on Mac

Hello! I'm trying to get my saved games synced over to my macbook. I finally found my way to the steam cloud logs and I keep seeing these messages:

It seems like it doesn't know where to put the save files on macos? Is this something you all can patch in? Where should these files live?
