XP Question???
Do you only get XP from doing quests or does killing enemies gain you XP?

Thanks:)

You're both right, there really is a progress bar, but it's also true that it doesn't count for anything, because your character, after level 20, stops progressing and only the equipment level counts.

Currently the most advanced characters have an equipment level of almost 100K.
The objective now it's just leveling up your equipment, there's no other way to progress; Therefore, the experience, in fact, is useless.

Cryptic eliminated the experience with the sole aim of stopping the decline in revenue. At first it worked, but over time and with the player base decreasing drastically, the financial situation continued to worsen.

You don't get XP at all, certain quests just give you levels as the rewards, which if fairly dumb.

Thanks for responding, I agree that's really, really stupid.

That was their big change awhile back. XP was totally done away with and Leveling up is now directly tied to hitting certain milestones via the quests.

Beyond farming the mobs for junk loot to sell, most just blow past them unless the quest requires you to kill X many.

You can get xp for mob killing and other things after you reach 20 level. For each new level you will get random in-game items or currencies

What do you expect me to answer on that? If you trust the other "others" more than another "others" just because that "others" answered first, so be you. You can google or download that game to confirm any of that statements

Level 20 is a cap level. After that below your char name will appeared a progress bar. You can fill that bar with mobs killing and questing. Each time you complete that bar you will get random in-game item like pet, horse or some currency.

There is exists 2x progress event in tre game. The past one was in february https://www.arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/11562873-2x-progress
No one is farming that progress because you need to do a lot for that and the rewards are completely random and commonly just not worth grinding.

I was annoyed because instead of asking questions or making some discussion, you just proposed if i'm lying without any facts. So i answered that if you don't trust me, just google your question or find it by yourself in the game.

And the other dudes was telling the truth as well.

I wasn't accusing you of lying and sorry if you took it as such, I also wanted answers from the community as Google is not 100% and if anyone knows for sure the ppl playing the game do.

But mainly if you don't like the question or have an issue with me please don't answer it as it seems that its annoying you or I am annoying you for some reason and again if so sorry and I don't really know what to say at this point.

I don't know if I'd call it XP as that pretty much means just 1 thing to most people. Plus experience doesn't come into the situation at all.

Better said there is a progress bar for level rewards or to borrow from another game it's a Reward Track and you get points while playing the game that fills it up. I've never paid enough attention to where the points come from beyond completing quests to say if you get any from killing mobs.
