Is anyone else unable to register new perfect world account.
After attempting to register my account, the system requested that I enter my password again.

"We found some missing information in your registration form. Please check the fields and try again."

"Please enter your password again."

This occurred 3 times in a row. (using the newest version of firefox on windows 7)

After the third attempt, I refreshed the page and tried again.

Now it is claiming that my username is already taken.

"Someone else has already registered that User Name. Please choose a new one."

I have not received a verification email, and the account cannot be logged into.
------

The exact same issue has also happened to my girlfriend and one of the friends who we were supposed to be playing with. All of us have VERY obscure usernames (see my steam ID) and it's unlikely that the username LISDFIOSDLFJ is also taken...

I haven't had that problem but I've tried to register twice now under two different emails and never got the confirmation email. I guess I'll just play something else.

It's not. I've actually been messaging back and forth with support.

They're useless. Actually useless. The first reply was a form letter claiming to have activated the account, and the second on suggested that I clear cookies and try a different browser. (which I did in the first 5 minutes and mentioned in the support ticket. )

Meanwhile, the login tells me flat out that my email is not attached to any account.

At this point, I've just given up.

I was using firefox, and then chrome. (never IE. no game is worth that)

Wait, what? the scripts require a specific order? let me check that.... (brb)

EDIT: Still says the username is taken, and I'm not about to create yet another username. (this bug has locked all 3 of my usual ones.)

I tried again using Internet Explorer and it worked. It apparently doesn't work with Opera or Chrome but my previous registrations were still unavailable.

I am very dsipleased with their process and customer support. "Perfect World" is an ironic name at this point. Have tried the workable suggestions above. FAIL. No reply mail from customer support after five hours. FAIL. I want back the hour I've wasted trying to fix this. Thanx all that have posted to this thread with useful information. Best fix I can find at this point: Walk away and warn others.

Same process: I installed the game, proceeded to registration page, filled in info, no e-mail. Poking around sometimes sends me to Arc Games (wtf??), with the message "Perfect World Entertainment Has Moved!". I have now lost 20 minutes with this process. This reeks of IT incompetence.
