I don't know much about the other two, but I do know about Neverwinter. It has a well-thought-out world, okay class choice, exceptional survivability if you catch on to attack patterns, good modular power sets, good music, mediocre graphics, and stays true to its roots in the Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying game. Overall, I rate Neverwinter a 7/10.

Thanks for the information. I'll definitely have a go at it. Thanks again (:

If I'd had to rank the 3 games it would be:

1. Rift
2. TERA
3. Neverwinter Online

but since they are all 3 free play them all and decide for yourself which you want to sink your teeth in.

I've decided to go for TERA first then RIFT. Thank you all for you opinions, they've been helpful!

Rift is far greater than tera.

Mainly due to the interactive events that occurs a lot in the zones, the hidden artifact minigame , the massive amount of classes.

Tera is rather boring, combat was fun at first, but got really repretive after a while...uninteresting armor models, boring classes and their BAMS are just overhyped more HP monsters that takes longer time to kill.

Instances are just tank and spank so far, cant quote on max level.
And there is no need for tanks early game....just rush trough instances and as a lancer i felt my choice in class very mediocre.

Rift is an excellent MMORPG that executes the FP2 standard perfectly and correctly, cash shop is mostly different mounts and wardrobe items..

Going to try this game a shot, and see how it is at max level...otherwise i just return to Rift

The only major issue rift have is bad SLI optimization, and general slowdowns in FPS on whatever system you have.

I just got TERA and it's been crashing, but i'll try it again. I'll definitely try RIFT. Thanks

It's easy to become sunk into Neverwinter. The quests do feel grindy, but the dungeons and dragons makes it very well worth it.
Neverwinter!

You know what, I'm try them all out. It's too hard to choose. TERA first, RIFT second then Neverwinter! Thanks

From personal experiance.

TERA is a beautiful (and very fanservicey) world, combat is engaging due to requiring you to make use of various mechanics such as a Lancers block, warriors dodge, or just being aware of your surroundings to outright avoid taking damage. However cosmetic options are largely limited to cash shop, specially since they long since removed the capability to use armor sets as cosmetic (outside of specific stuff which are rather expencive). The story in TERA is quite "Meh" and ultimatly ignorable. The classes are your typical holy trinity, having two variations of each (EG Lancer is block tank, Warrior is dodge tank).

RIFT looks really nice and has many events usually running at once, you have your Rift events which are all over the place in zones, just a matter of running to them, you have Zone wide events which pit you against enemy forces coming from mass rift spawns, and you have server wide events which have specific rifts spawning in various zones which can reward nicer than normal goodies. There is not really a set in stone Class system in rift, you can have your own unique class (taking skills/perks from up to 3 different "base" classes) which gives a lot of variation and choices to how you want to play, hybrids are often seen but full on tanks, healers, or damage dealers are still there.

The story is nothing to fret over, but is still nice to keep up with.

Neverwinter Online has thus far been a nice experiance, the graphics are pretty and the general experiance gives me an old school pen/paper feel which is quite awesome. However I can not give more than that since i haven't played the game fully.
