reinstall when on demand patching?

I wanna turn the on-demand patching feature off in the clinet launcher, but hwne i do this the game starts patching a 5GB download.. :s

It doesn't reinstall the game, it just installs the game fully for the first time... as mentioned in other threads, the best thing to do, is to disable on-demand patching right from the start.
Install/patch/update the game fully, and then just play.

yeah i just did that, not sure why such a big install but oh well. I did it hoping it would fix my recent issue where I just lag to ♥♥♥♥ for like 2 mins after i select my character. Whole game will just be very slow and laggy and all i can do is leave it alone until it goes back to normal

The game is not "lagging", it's just downloading the needed game data while you were playing it. ;)

no no, files are done and all, but everytime i start the game up, when i select my character and get in the game, it'll "freeze" in a laggy way, making it unplayable until i wait a few mins. my internet is super fast and so is my pc
