Tips for how to quickly refine an Artifact weapon?

Since this weekend (Feb 27th-30th) is double refinement point weekend, I'm curious, whats the quickest way to refine weapons? I'm currently trying to upgrade my Dragon Artifact weapon and want to know how I can speed up this process. Can you only upgrade your weapon by other dropped weapons and armor? I tried buying items from the auction house to use for refinement but they don't work, but only dopped items can. Its weird. Thanks in advance ^_^

you can't upgrade an artifact with below level 70 equipment's. maybe thats why you cudn't upgrade from AH. Instead of using other gears to level up your artifact, i prefer salvaging your items for astral diamonds and using them to buy resonance refinement stones from the AH. However, if you are upgrading artifacts which are not equipment's, use enchantment stones instead. get 99 rank 4 enchantment stones from AH and use them to level up the artifact. good luck :)

Level 60 artifact weapon -> any level 60+ green equipment piece, any fitting (main-hand to main-hand, off-hand to off-hand) weapon item will give you 2x refinement points, and resonance stones

Level 70 artifact weapon -> any level 70+ green equipment piece, any fitting weapon item will give you 2x refinement points, resonance stones and level 60 artifact weapon

you can't use any items that are for companions ("loyal" in the item name) for refining
