Noooo they didn't. Cryptic was owned by PWE. Embracer bought PWE and merged it with Gearbox that they already owned.
ok you win but still waiting for the good days.
I remember a few bad updates by the developers that ruined the game for me:
- when they removed player-created content (forge or whatever it was called)
- when they made difficulty of mobs when leveling so high that it forces you to realize how weak you are so you need to spend real money just to be able to level up, making the game more corrupt than P2W, literally P2P except you don't pay an entry fee, but you realize you can't do the most basic things in the game without spending money
- when they made the level cap 20 to pretend like this POS trash is D&D and removed some of the zones that were required for leveling
If you want to play a more authentic D&D experience, play Dungeons & Dragons Online, not this crap.
sperging over a game you know nothing about and havent played in 10 years, is dramatic to say the least..
