fighter build question

[To Hell With The Trolls!]

I played WOW for a handful of years and realized dps is horrible for group finding so I did heals and tank... I did well on both...
But with this game it's almost completely solo till you hit 80 and now I'm there..
I was using tank build with dps skill's but now I'm getting my A handed to me, found numerous pages about builds, chose one and... It's singular dps, that sucks as I'm going through UM trying to gear to make runs with guild and having almost no AOE whatsoever..

Can anyone suggest something?

Well, just keep your Vanguard as one loadout, and make another one as Dreadnought, this is a "build" that works for me...

Dreadnought
Abilities: everything into STR and CON
At-Will: Reave and Heavy Slash
Encounters: Shield Throw, Tremor, Onslaught
Daily: Earthshaker and Second Wind
Class Feature: Greater Endurance and Vigorous Strikes
Feats: Heavier Slash, Ricochet, Crushing Blows, Landwaster, Executioner's Cut
Boons: still buildung, what i have for now goes into HP and Power

Ioun Stone of Might (should at least be a rare one, so you can get it to level 30) active, another Augment like the Cat would do it too

get a few cheap uncommon ones for Champion's Return, Oppressor's Respite, Knight's Defense, Barbarian's Delight, Magistrate's Patience. I switch the last one with Wanderer's Fortune while questing, or with Gladiator's Guile while running dungeons/skirmishes.

i recommand people to get gear at avernus first to get 1225 item level chest/gloves/shoes/helm
shirt or pants with 1200 and burnished weapons

before even starting with anything else xD its easy to get and it makes your life easyer
