Can't decide on class

Was wondering at what level do you get a good feel for a class. Have a 13 fighter so far, which has been enjoyable but I'm curious what the other classes have to offer.

My opinion of classes (have Paladin and Wizard as the ones i play most so biased there)

Cleric : Really amazing dps(probably one of best if not best) and endgame healing if you can get build right
Paladin : Weak dps Amazing tank and really good endgame heal.
Rogues : good dps but not best
Ranger: Great DPS
Fighter : Good tank and dps
Barbie : Good dps(not best) and can tank end game
Wizard : Good dps once you get high item level (26-27k) you can compete with bis classes but on weaker toons will have less dps since this is a boss killer and not the best on mobs

In my opinion i recommend playing with the class you like the play style. They are all useful in all content if played correctly

Interesting to see you mention ranger as great DPS, since they seem to get regularly panned by the community at large as fairly sucky. I was under the impression that rogues were the best DPS hands down, which you also disagree with. Not saying you're wrong, just an interesting observation.

So many different perspectives on this game. It's interesting to see what people think.

I totally agree with you on Paladins - love my Paladin Tank - although I do often rank high on the DPS charts due to my build. Sometimes first, but that usually only happens when the DPS is sub par.

DC is best dps by far (when played right) and hr are imo best aoe out there i have also run with some amazing hr's. as with most classes it depends on who is playing it.

I for example are really bad on barbarian, but Northside will humiliate most other dps classes. Might just be that the hr's i run with are amazing. i also know a few super tr's. I say dc is top due to( if played right) it can have 0 cooldown on their encounters allowing them to melt everything. Again the dc's i am thinking of when saying this is pure bis (maxed on everything) so that might also have something to do with it :)

I agree with you that due to state of game currently it can be seen in different ways. Part of that makes it so much fun right now :) So i always try to state Choose what you like not what is best since in 2 months that might change

EDIT: Pally is my favorite class in game i play them all but my CW,Pally,DC and GWF are only ones with max boons and good gear.
