All weapons should be buffed, I think the beauty of this game is going back to earlier content and making the campaigns worth completing. New content shouldn't mean better weapons, better armor yes not weapons.

This game has a unique weapon system that is quite enjoyable. I am sure a lot of work has gone into designing weapons, getting them, etc... I Feel all this hard work in designing these campaigns is wasted, with the new content having better weapons.

Everything that came after Mirage weapons sadly hasn't been great. There hasn't been a weapon so far that I've told myself "I must get that." Mirage isn't the problem, it's the new design in weapons. There are NO EFFECTS. Just boring text...

Not sure what a mirage weapon is, as I haven't been here all that long, but that's how MMOs work, as they progress the older weapons/gear turn into appearance items(glamours, transmogs, whatever you wanna call them) Nothing stopping you from using them for display, or as a status symbol.

If the new content didn't have better gear, lots of people would whine and complain about it, maybe quit outright, gotta keep the power creep going to hold interest in people, especially the whales. On that note, can't have too many shiny things come from sources other the the gamble boxes, gotta keep the whales happy, they pay the bills after all.

No, on the contrary, the more advanced content, at least the more recent ones, have weapons and equipment with worse enchantments, despite having a more advanced level of points.

In fact, Mirage weapons are still considered the best weapons today, although they have a much lower level of points.
They can be purchased at the Auction House, although they are a little expensive.
