Unable to connect to the Patch Server...

I was porting to a new zone, and the game stopped responding about halfway through the loading screen. Now, even after restarting steam and my computer, I am unable to communicate with the Patch Server, and cannot get back into the game. Anyone else having this issue, or am I just pooched?

Same here, has about 8 attempts trying to connect to server and fails

It isn't just steam related, looks like folks logging in using ARC have the same problem. Someone posted there was an earthquake in Napa Valley - maybe related?

DITTO....Yesterday my Charter internet was down so I could not play. Apparently a lot of people all over the U.S. had the same issue and nobody could get through to talk to anyone at Charter because all of the phone lines were busy all day long. They never even released a statement explaining what the issue was......now today this happens....I guess Neverwinter doesn't want me to play this weekend.

+1 but today only for me. Played fine until steam patched just now.
I can launch cryptic game files outside of steam, so yes...steam patch seems to have a few kinks to be worked out today I "suspect".
*UPDATE*
After trying launcher few more times, it was able to finish updating and now launch is working.
So NOW, I can confirm it still can't connect to game client shard/server though. lol

The first part of my comment was relevant to the topic which is discussed in the thread, the part you quote is just a sample of my discontent aimed at businesses cited for neglecting the 2nd most spoken language in the world for other, with all due respect to those citizens of those countries, most minority languages.

Finally I do not think it is you who must judge what is relevant or to be scold my postscript gladly withdraws that part I indicates if a moderator.

La primera parte de mi comentario ha sido relevante para el tema del cual se habla en el hilo, la parte que usted cita es simplemente una muestra de mi descontento dirigida a las empresas citadas por dejar de lado el 2º idioma más hablado del mundo en favor de otras, con todos mis respetos a aquellos ciudadanos de esos paises, lenguas más minoritarias.
