Neverwinter startup crash [FIXED]
neverwinter FATAL ERROR: direct3D driver returned error code (E_INVALIDARG) while creating D3D device.

best to post bugs and game errors over at ARC site and forum, as replies on steam are just most of the time from others users like me eg this one, steam is just a platform to them, and not much else, one reason stuff like maintance posts don't even get reported or mentioned on here, so if you still wish for help, make an account there and send them a report with the error attached and they may be able to help you, sorry and good luck

How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:

1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice

Nvm i fixed it the problem was happening because of windows 10 trying to record the game, turning this feature off fixed the issue thanks for the response anyway.

what do you mean by recording?
is it the game bar?
