losing many Companions after the last feking patch

anyone else lost a lot of Companions?? i didnt log in in two years, just recently with 2 characters before the 'combat' patch. i have all of the Companions there. but after the patch, i got only 5 Companions on the other 6 characters. maxed level Assassin Drake gone. Redcap Powrie gone. Cockatrice gone. Mythic Phoera gone. Dragonborn Brawler gone....

most of all hurts Pig, which i got from Common to Epic with a lot of AD... and those Companions which cost me a lot of AD on AH...

It's not combat patch.

I did not play for ... 3 years. Got back recently in beginning of the month. Sadly a lot of weirder companions (ribbon pig, Aranea, and Portal/Blink hounds) were somehow lost. It's funny as one of those was a one time claim companion from paid pack.

It seems that somehow along the way one of the patches implemented did erase many companions.

Sadly I have no idea which and at which point.

I did even write with service support, mainly about Portal Hound being lost but apparently, despite being utterly 'caring' and unoffending with their speech (wchich is always welcome, I love good manners) the logs were 'too old' to deduce anything at all.

AAAAAAAnd thus I decided to treat them as lost... my 2 pigs on diff characters, my Aranea, my Protal Hound , my Mystic Phoera, my Battlefield Medic, my Acolyte of Kelemvor, my Neverember Guard, my Dread Warrior, my Pig, my Lillend, my Blink Dog... those are ones I lost.

Not like I did 'use' them a lot... but still it is sad.


Problem is that their claim of 'logs being too old' is kinda solid in case of someone not logging in for nearly 3 years :/. Yet the logs are saying I did use (for example) Portal Hound claim in rewards agent - yet it is nowhere to be found on any of 13 old characters.

I wonder if any other returnee had same issues.

All of mine were still there, but I have no idea what to do with the new bonding runestone we just got. Where the heck is that suppose to go?

Combat update made them obsolete. You can turn them in to antiques collector for other runes or AD

I guess missing companions is only case for players with 2 circumstances present:
-A lots of companions on a lots of characters
-Long, long time without log in

I have still many, many companions. I would not play had my main lost her Legendary Chicken Tuorlo which I bought for good 3mil AD years ago. (out of sheer anger).

Still there are some missing companions none-the-less. But I personally take it as my fault for not being here for... well.. years. Had I 'recently' lost companions and nothing was done - I would be angry. But if I lost them mainly due to my negligence , as seems the case, then part of blame is on me for not keeping eye on my things I guess :/

just finished log in with all my 8 characters. Gommi and Sa'Tyr were loged in prior to the 'combat' patch, 1 day before. all of the Companions are there, about 20+. the rest 6 characters were loged in yesterday/today, so after the 'combat' patch and all the 6 characters have only 5 Companions from about 20+ i got on all of them.

so, its not from being too long off, without any login i would say.

i miss Assassin Drake, Pig, Cockatrice, Mythic Phoera, Dragonborn Brawler, Stalwart Golden Lion, Lillend, Redcap Powrie, Air Archon, Earth Archon, Frozen Galeb Duhr, Battlefield Medic, Ghost, and many Common and Uncommon Companions. thx the gods i didnt lost that nice Dwarven Shieldmaiden i leveled up from Common to Epic with AD...

Then if it is a recent change - good choice that you did them via in-game support!

As logs are fresh there is a good chance that you will get them back. Chances are that you will need to wait for initial reply some odd 12 hours (do not get discouraged). Later on i got replies in 2-3 hours to any following mails. With fresh logs you definitely have chance to get companions back :)

all Companions are back and healthy :) dunno if they put them back or if it was some patch, but they are definitely back :)

Many players who complained about the lack of companions did not even notice that they are hidden, just click on them and the others appear as an option.

not my case. i didnt have any passives from them and i could buy and bind them again. once they returned to chatacter sheet, those i bound and named 'again', were back in inventory. and as i wrote, 2 characters had all, 6 characters just five. and of course, i knew there is option to show all or favorites - even with clicked on all, there were only five.
