2. It's thematically so; the mechanics reference the themes but they're constructed differently since it isn't a turn-based tabletop game.
3. General chat tends to be full of trolls, especially in the city hub. You really do want to find a good guild/alliance, even if it's just a casual-play one, since that's where you'll typically find the good community elements.
In PvE nobody is toxic as everyone tries to down the same monster together.
2. I don't really think so. it's pretty much a standard MMO with a thin wash of D&D over it class & place names etc....).
3. I've never seen the player base be toxic. A lot of chat goes on, but nothing toxic. Now it could be that way in Pvp, but then pretty much they all are there.
