There is "easier" group content that can be soloed - dungeons like Valindra's Tower and so on.. and while soloing that that's a fun challenge, it's not "endgame" stuff by any means....and the rewards are really not worth the effort.
The solo content is generally so easy that class does not matter. Paladins might take slightly longer than other classes, but that's because they lack a dedicated DPS build option. I play a Cleric myself, and I just melt through the solo content. Rangers, Rogues and Mages might be even faster than I am.
