Sold the ring you need for the refinment quest and then figuring i would just delete the quest and start again

Well imagine my suprise that now I have no idea who you go to to get the quest and no one in the city seems to give the quest - any help on solving my dilemma would be appreciated.

I would hate to reroll my ranger i have him up to level 22.

if you can't get the quest again from Bradda the Sage in the shop - forget it, the ring is nice for a level 15 quest, but you can just buy another ring from the Auction House and move on, it's not worth rerolling a level 20+ character for it.

Well, that's really strange... i allways thought a character was able to refine things without that quest just fine, but perhaps that was changed at some point?

contact support, update your ticket, and ask a GM to resett the quest. It might take a day or two, so i suggest to either continue or start playing with another character until it's fixed. There's no need for deleting your character, unless you really want to get rid of it.

uhm....You should be able to refine without problems without doing that quest. What happens? do you have a screenshot ?

No sorry but it stopped me from further refining I got disgusted and deleted the char I am up to lvl 38 with new toon and no problems.

The Ring of Warding is necessary for later quests, according to the Arc support faq. If you did something stupid like dropped it, then you need to contact Neverwinter Customer Support and ask them to replace it for you. Takes about a week, they say, but they usually will give you a new copy of the ring.

I can't log into the game currently so I haven't done this personally, but that is what I learned from browsing the Neverwinter tech support site.
