Chat not working

Hello everyone,

I looked up on what I should be doing in order for me to be allowed to chat, it said you need to finish the return of the crown questline, which I have done.
I defeated the person who took the crown and returned it, and then went to some castle were I got my first mount.

Problem is that I still cant chat, and I am having issues on finding how to solve this since half the articles I come accross online is stuff for the PS4 and I am playing on PC.

If someone would be willing to explain to me (exactly cause I am a bit of a newb) what I need to do to be able to unlock all functions it would be great and much apricated as I am really getting into this game.

Hi, thanks for the quick response.
My problem lies in the fact that the tips in the link provided is stuff I already ran into and dont understand.

Because its telling me to finish a string of quests but from my understanding I met the requierments considering the fact that I found and returned the crown already.

So I think I am not understanding something I should or am doing something wrong.

As a side-question, is there a way to see what is a sidequest and my main story quest?

it looks like you have only finished 2 quest chaines this far.
Clear the 3 quest chains listed in the Tower District too, and the restrictions should be gone.

i'd say these are your "main quests", and any quest from drops or events are "side quests".

Alright so I defeated all 3 orc's, defeated the dungeon (which is the last part of the quest chain) that they mentioned but still cant type in chat =/
So now I am certain I've done both the crown and tower questlines.

Did you receive the quest to return to Sgt. Knox in Protectors Enclave to report your success?
If not, check the quest npcs in the area for some quest you might have missed.
If you allready gave your report to Sgt. Knox, try relogging/restarting the game to see if that shakes something loose.
