70lvl 9k item level my character is very weak

Hello, am new player. Playing as warlock. I dont understand how this game exactly work. My character is almost oneshoted by normal mobs and my damage is about 10x lower than other player in epic dungeons etc. Any suggestions what to do? thanks for help

what.... content are you trying to do? (imo it sounds like you're trying to do the ravenloft campaign with the gear they gave you, if so stop what you're doing leave the area and start the elemental evil campaign instead)

I would like to give you some advice but the only way I know how to play Warlock is as an Hellbringer Templock who stacks the ♥♥♥♥ outta power/armor.pen and lifesteal (which the latter stat is being removed/?/ or edited not sure which)

You should start working on all the campaigns you can do, for end game it is quite grindy but those "boons" give you quite a bit of ilvl and damage. The way this game works is you need to start the earlier campaigns to even have a chance of doing things like chult and ravenloft. Good luck

i hope they fix this in module 16... You would wait a 14k to do around 40% more damage than a 10k, not 400% more damage.

without knowing anything about your gear, it is hard to give specific advice - sure, I can say generic things, like "improve your gear, enchants,mounts, companions, bonding runestones and work on getting all the boons", but I would really need to know a bit more.
