Arc app or play through Steam?

Just wondering if there is any difference, or does it matter?

playing via steam is prob gonna hit you will an temp spendng/purchasing ban when you buy zen for the 1st time (still can happen with arc but more likely with steam)

other that that I see no differnce tbh

It's personal preference, really. I enjoy keeping as many of my PC games as possible through Steam just for the sake of consolidation. And I like using the steam overlay, which can be finicky to use with MMORPGs that use launchers.

if you buy steam cards often , id go thru steam...
i do alot of console gaming as well as pc gaming, so i often have used games / electronics that i sell back to stores such as gamestop and bestbuy. the easiest thing to get with my trade in credit is steam cards. which i use to pay for most of my newer games...

steam you can use steam credit, arc you can only use cards with a credit logo as far as i know

also yes, you will most likely be hit with a temporary ban to the ad exchange the first time you top up using steam. in most cases it only lasts a few days, and from there on you should be fine . they did this due to a lot of people charging up zen, converting it to ad, and then charging back to the bank to get there money back

Why would that cause a temp ban? Just curious as i am returning after not playing since late 2013. thought i would give it a try again. Im having enogh fun ill likely buy 6 mo nth VIP so will buy some Zen. I am playing through Steam now whereas I used to play through the ARC app.

Wondering if that has anythign to do with the bug that doesnt allow me to transfer AD at the bank from one toon to another. I have about 3million from back in 2013
