Leveling Queue waiting over an hour to find
update: is not a bug, but a bad update that always requires random queues, 3 dps 1 tank 1 healer, BUT there it is, the game has infinitely more dps which makes queues long and boring for dps and even for tanks and healers, making the already repetitive game even more boring, and they already know it and apparently it won't change, what they did was give bonuses to these tank and healer classes, but so little. Bonus, so little, that makes no difference, I'm still taking 30 minutes to find a match and simply give up and I'll play another game.

original question:

this is really disappointing, more than 1 hour to find a leveling queue, since before i found it practically instantly, it lost the fun to play like this, i was leveling up and getting stronger just to go into stronger higher level dungeons , so now that if I don't find any more, this is frustrating and discouraging, in the future I even thought about investing in the game and some friends were also willing to invest, but after that they gave up, I hope this is just a glitch, a bug, and be corrected, or softened.

A tank and a healer are now MANDATORY in ALL random queues!!!
Utter madness. :cozycrashfish:

Of course you can game this now, IF you have a class that offers a tank or healing path.
Usually instant queue for healers.

Sorry it's probably not a glitch. The thought is it's down to a change which came in with the last patch where they introduced a new requirement for Skirmishes where they now require 1 tank, 1 healer and 3 DPS damage dealers.

For the leveling queue this includes Dread Legion and Master of the Hunt so getting this requirement for these skimishes takes a long long time, e.g. higher level players could virtually complete these almost solo. There are a lot of complaints about this change on the main Neverwinter forum, so we will have to wait to see if it changes. People have in many cases given up on the queues due to the long wait rimes.

so it may not be a bug, but it was badly done, because it is taking too long, many and many people complaining in the forums, anyway is waiting to see what happens, if this is the case I'll probably stop playing, because you lost the grace the game

too, but it was more because of the requirement of the classes, because before the update there was also an event

has an official Dev answer in it, i guess they have to burn themself to feel that the stove is really hot before "believing" it... in other words, this change won't go the way they think it will in the end. it's just going to create another kind of mess.

Yeah.
Utter silliness.

People will just leave if they cannot play like THEY prefer.
This game isn´t exactly the most popular, so to start punishing your own players for not choosing the "right" class.

yes, i saw that it is not a bug, but it is a tremendous one of a flaw, a totally poor implementation, i am not playing almost the game after that anymore, before i was playing all day, doing dungeons and etc ... Doing missions, after that the game has become boring, so I will evolve to get stronger if I can't even use it since it just takes a century to find a random row, until I find a row I got bored and went to play another game.

I saw, that is going to continue the same thing, this is very bad, people will get tired of waiting and go play another game just like I'm doing

yes, I met this game myself in August, I really enjoyed playing 10 hours straight a day, in about 40 days I played 325 hours, and I was playing more and more, until this update ended the fun of the game, the only thing that saved the game for me was the random queues, because I played a lot of cool maps with different people, now I have to wait a long time to find one and I just give up and go play another game

when they release the next update, i'll just equip two alt. characters with basic stuff and use them for the daily tank and healer role bonus in the random leveling queue... it won't be much fun, but i'll still get my daily seals and rAD without having to wait for hours.

but most of the new players will be up ♥♥♥♥ creek without a paddle since they can't switch to another loadout before level 30.

it would have made more sense to improve tank and healer companions, so that the players can choose what they need to finish a run successfully, instead of trying to force players into a tank/healer/3x damage dealer group combination across all random queues.

no one likes playing the tank since mod 16 so that means very few tanks q for PUG dungeons. Mod 17 also really discouraged many to play i suspect most are just into player maintenance mode. Get vip key and leave.

Mod 17 really have nothing for you to do if you are a mid level player with all campaigns done

the game spoiled what was the best, the random queue was really cool, currently I have to wait almost 30 minutes or so for a single queue, not worth it, I'm just doing the uprising boring master expeditions, repetitive missions I hoped it was cool, but these days it's just things repeated daily on even more repeated maps, and I try to make a random queue if it doesn't take too long.

it looks like many players changed their loadout to healer or tank, i can get into a random leveling queue run within less then a minute even with a dps character - just don't expect the "healer" or "tank" to actually fullfill their role, or in some cases to do more then only follow your character to the end boss.

rlq aren't starting instant like they did before the devs enforced the "holy trinity" on them, but it appears to be working within a tolerable waiting time at the moment, and we have to wait and see if that will go on to work in the future too.

anyway, i still think that this change was a waste of resources at best, it might cause more problems in the long run at worst, and that it would have been much better to get companions repaired again or to fix some of the real bugs and issues in game.

Fully agree with this. Only have 2 characters, Ranger and Barbarian. Given up trying these queues with the Ranger now just use the Barbarian and though I normally use the DPS build I switch to Tank to run the queues. Very annoying since I hate playing tank. Can't switch with the Ranger since both builds are DPS. Really hope they change this.
