Cryptic Launcher Auto Update won't connect?

Keeps trying to connect but never does. Internet connection is fine otherwise

if validate game content dont work. then you do have issue with vpn or network in the area you are in try tracert or ping game server, could be the local ISP you have but i doubt it.

ps.
do not underestimate update network drivers, its longtime i have seen bug with this but its still valid trouble shooting recommendation and will always be so.

even reboot router and wait 30-60 sec atleast. before turn on pc.
another trouble shooting recommendation.
not first time it seem to clear router ram cache tabel fix this.
its so rare but happend sometime. ( another issue with router update fireware/iso depend on type )

"Verify integrity of game files" option is greyed out and I can't click it. I uninstalled & reinstalled but it's really just the launcher which won't connect so there are no game files to upload and verify yet. Drivers all up to date, rebooted router etc...

Try starting launcher without using steam (from folder). Sometimes helps. Check if your firewall blocks it

Yeah I tried that as well. My Firewall doesn't block it but I even turned it off to be sure and the launcher still won't connect. I played just recently with no problems and now all of a sudden the launcher refuses to connect. The main problem is that I've dealt with PerfectWorld support before and according to my experience if I can't troubleshoot this myself I may as well just give up.

You should not need to but have you tried running it in compatibility mode (remember must be x64). Sometimes running games in admin mode and win 7 mode helps get around problems that occur in win 10
