i'll blame the game because it's definitely the games fault. i've tested my speed and downloaded from other sources and it's ALWAYS over 10mb a second. oh well i dont care that much and if they dont want me to play their game then i wont play

Maybe it has to do with your location?

i guess it's possible but i live in the eastern united states and i dont know what i could do about it if that's the problem

but the difference is for those of us that have good internets the download speed on the launcher rarely hits a single 1mb , when in steam i can download at 10 or more lol clearly its on our end ....{sarcasm}

United States on Dragon Server should be perfect. Have you tried restarting your computer? Has solved alot of my past issues regarding dl speed. Sometimes even the most capable computers just need a restart and a hard disk clean up. One thing I can tell you though, most players are not having this problem so you would have to assume it's something on your end. Good luck!

Let me explain as slow as possible ,some of us not all ,Are experiencing a very very slow download speed , since we get a very very high speed normally on steam and the only thing that is different is this turd launcher then i would pretty much put it down to neverwinter using the cheapest possible servers.. 500kb in 2017 ? are they having a laugh ... " Have you tried restarting your computer? Has solved alot of my past issues regarding dl speed. Sometimes even the most capable computers just need a restart and a hard disk clean up" i lost about 40% of all brain cells reading this.Want to do some colouring with me ?

And now the real you comes out , you think i couldnt tell your a troll ? Telling people to check there hard drives for an internet problem ... seriously ... go look at your steam library... then your wallet.... then a mirror , then ask yourself what exactly am i worth .telling people to kill themselfs over a question on the internet ? Well when Neverwinter downloads at 3Mbps and anything else at 100Mbps, I can blame the game

Download/Patch speed is really slow... I downloaded Black Desert faster than this game.

There definitely is something happening with their servers/launcher. I just felt the desire to casual an MMO for the first time in years and decided on Neverwinter. My computer is beast and so is my internet connection. The 10gb worth of data to download would normally take me 5 minutes or less on a platform like Steam.

The download started off great and I was able to get the first 40% in just a few minutes before it slowed down to creeping speeds. From 40-50% it has been fluctuating between a crawl and a walk, but at least it's moving.

I'm sure this would be annoying to most and no doubt will cause a few people to lose interest. I'm also going to guess that this is an indication of what I have to look forward to with server lag/stability. Nevertheless, I don't feel that it's a deal breaker as long as it does eventually finish downloading.

A little patience goes a long way.
