"Disconnected from server"

Getting this message very very often it's basically impossible to play the game. Any fix?

This seems to plague even veteran players. Apart from your internet connection, I am not sure what else could be the culprit. I would like to blast that it is 'their' problem, but that would be unproductive.

I have been having the same problem ever since the last shard maintenance.
I have tested my internet connection to the server and there is no issue, which leads me to think this is a server issue on their side, as fellow guildies are having the same issues.
If it carries on like this I will send in a support ticket to arc.

I am now redownloading the game after being disconnected from the server yet again. I will let you know if this fixes this issue

I found out my version of windows was corrupted so I reinstalled it with a new version. ( win 7 both times ). I'll download neverwinter in a couple days and let you guys know if I still encounter the problem.

Ugh... Win7. That explains ALOT right there. Are any other games DC-ing too? I would not be surprised.

Win7 is actually the best Windows operative system to play games on right now. Anyway no I didn't have any problem with other games. But as I said i installed a fresh copy of win7 cause i found out mine was corrupted, so I'll download the game again in a couple days and see if the problem persists.

PS: I have played the game some months ago on Win7 but I didn't have any similar issue.

Same reason I ended up in the forums.. Glad its not only me.. but that means its on the Games server side... that sucks i almost died in battle because the game server lagged.. And here I thought Skyrim was bad.. I guess i won't be playing this anymore until they get it fixed.

Been getting it a lot since the last update >.<
Losing connection while logging in, changing toons, loading different areas and etc...
Sometimes if I close NW it stays in Task Manager, won't let me open another or close it. So I have to restart my whole computer, getting very annoying

Well, in most cases the problem is probably "on-demand patching" being active in the game launcher options, disable it, download the whole game, run a "force verify" and the game should work properly from now on for you.

In other cases it might just be maintenance time, which is mentioned right on the game launcher, and on the official forums too.

Restarting your modem/router might also help.

Well, that's strange... i don't have the best internet around here, and i have no problem with Neverwinter even in a good populated Winter Festival map instance. There're sometimes disconnects, but i can allways login again right away, and they're not very frequent.

Any security software perhaps messing around with Neverwinter, or something else running in the background?

Another option might be starting the game in "safe mode" and see if that helps.
