I returned after a long period of time of taking a break from this game and just logged back in today again, but something feels wrong...
I can not catch that many carps in (Map) China anymore it like 1 fish every 5-10 mins wich is a huge gap compare how it was in past...

I am using the Gold stick set baits and everything are the same i used in past..
did they changed something?

I am just guessing though. As far as i know there has been no word from Woolf on the subject since, so he is probably coding and correcting.

You can still catch koi, but you need to use carp rods, that's what people say now...

I was one of the biggest fans of carp fishing in this game and now I stopped playing because of this reason, no more carp fishing. Not only China, go to other carp maps and you will have same results, no matter the gear you are using.
But indeed, China DLC is the most affected map regarding this subject. It became harder for bots to farm, indeed, but it became almost complete waste of time for normal and fair players.

I don't know what you are talking about. I have been catching carp on france non stop for 4-5 hours. I even set the world record on golden carp earlier.

There are PLENTY of carp.

I'm sure stick rods will be just fine again once Woolf fixes the bug/exploit some have been using either intentionally or unintentionally.

I tried stick rods in Norway and it's no go... Keep getting tuna 5m from shore or big salmon and I don't know how people exploit stick rods, either salmon or tuna are just to big for them rods.

Looks like good gear for fishing in norway.

But easier, you have 37000 silver. You can just buy some cheap bottom or float rods around the 20 kg and fish like normal, except with different rods than you are used to.
