World Record Fish Weight Reduced?
I am wondering why my Polar Shark Record of 109kg 829gr which stays for 9 days is reduced to 97kg 341gr now? (12kg 488gr less) Does the displayed fish decay over time? Or did the taxidermist steal my teeth and replaced with plastic implants? 🤣That was a very hard earned 2 real time hours fight, which I thoroughly enjoyed! If this shark ever is ranked, which is minimum trophy weight? Btw I still have the original screenshot & now have the replicated forgery - now it feels like I used a size 4 hook not 5. I have a reputation of going big or bust! "Polar Shark king"...👑🙏🤴🦋

This is intended and is how the system works. The weight stays for a set time and then it starts to reduce by a set amount consistently. This is so that the records don't get filled with max size fish within a month and nobody can set records anymore. It's to keep giving all players a chance to set new records again. The size will continue to go down until someone catch a bigger one. And then it's the same for that new record. Stays same for a while and then starts to reduce until someone else beats that one again.

so the records arent actually records then. It's like giving someone a medal for finishing last. It Would be better to keep permanent records and then just give us a weekly record board too of the biggest fish for the week that resets every sunday

It makes it fair on other players to have a record instead of the same person all the time.

Then make a weekly record board - All time records arent the true records if that is the case

It doesn't say anywhere these are 'all time records'. These are simply records and work this way.
Current system is especially good for development stage as max fish size is not set in stone and being adjusted so it prevents unattainable records from clogging the board.

Yes it is. They are along the lines of what Woolf replied in one of his posts. I'll let you go ahead and find the said post among his 4,800 posts he's created so far.
