Henan Lake Trophy Carp Question

I've recently started going for silver medal on that venue and got stuck on a fish that I wouldn't expect ... a common carp.
I've spent like 3 days in there and was using sticks, yesterday switched to bottom rods and for the hell can't catch trophy of that fish. Tried 5 different spots and on one spot in particular I've caught several fish between 14-15kg in short succession. More over, in 3 days I've not seen any single trophy carp (including KOI) caught on English chat, there are but on other chats.

Now the question is. Is that normal or I'm doing something wrong? I've found an old post where Woolf said that China is setup to catch a lot of medium fish but trophy carps are not too easy so according to that it would be normal.

I've ran in such situation in the past with Wild Carp on Kazakhstan where took me 3 days to catch proper sized trophy (got a small one 1st) and the matter was finding a proper spot which still I've not seen circulating anywhere in public, besides that one place it was complete RNG.

Don't worry you are not alone 😉 I haven't seen trophy in China in a few months, however if you watch bots there and they can do it few times per day if you check their profiles 😉

China map is gone mate. I have 500 h on that map and after carp fishing was changed with the latest updates I promise you this map is garbage. Hooks bigger than no 6 give almost zero bite rate and hooks no 6 and smaller give tons of trash 2-4kg fish. Spent today 4 h on the map, I did not see one blue koi, all smaller than 5 kg and I tried everything.
