Feed bucket

Hi , have anybody figured out yet what the feed bucket is for and how to use it ? Can we craft unique recipes in it ? Or what is it for ?

I think it's just a shortcut to the groundbait creation panel. First you drag it under the keepnet (there are a few slots), then you press Space to put it on the ground. Then you can press E to open the panel.

So it doesn't actually add any extra stuff you can create ? It's the same as if you just create the groundbait from your inventory ?
