Crawfish and molluscs

I have been away from the game for about 5 months. now all my good places for catching crawfish and molls are completely useless. I have tried to search out new places I thought looked promising and I have caught absolutely nothing. I used to find those places by myself but i'm really getting frustrated. Any tips would be most appreciated.

with the introduction of the traps, the bite rate with regular rods got reduced by alot. The spots did not change at all. You can still catch them where you got them in the past. You just will not catch that many anymore.

On top of that, with the changes of the leader and hook system, the allready reduced bite rate got even worse. ^^ GL fingureing out what leader material and hook you need to catch them.

I just uninstalled the game and got a RL fishing license instead. :P

The biterate on mollusc and crayfish is not that bad to be able to complete the achievement. And if you can move about and find a good spot you will actually see the biterate is fine. Once you have the achievement I recommend to also complete the Test casting achievement (Check the achievement thread which is pinned). Then you can test the best spot to place the trap to get the catch you desire.

When it comes to what leader materials/length and hooks to use. Firstly I recommend that you buy the two available manuals from the shop. Read those thoroughly and hold onto them and read them whenever you need. This will give you a good starting point.

I used to go down to the local pond and fish for rudds with my fly rod. The other day I noticed someone must have put grasscarps out, because I saw a copple sniffing around the bread someone was feeding the ducks. I'll try to get their attention :-)

Thx. I have. I live at the border between Germany and Denmark, at the Baltic Sea. I can catch Herrings almost every day. Sea Trouts, Garfish and some other fish are not as common anymore.

About fisherOnline. We get told all the time, that we are not forced to play the game, if we don't have fun anymore. And that is exactly what I did. Stop playing the game and stop spending money to support the development.

That way Woolf and fortunecafe get what they told us over and over again.

GL with the mollusc and crawfish quest. It is still possible, but way harder. ^^ If anyone else have any tips about the leader Material and Hooks, just share the info, to make it easier. ^^
