Compare to FP?

How good is this game? I mean if you disregard the economic models of the games. In fishing mechanics etc. Considering buying possibly at the next sale.

for me it has no better as a fishing game, impeccable value for money.

- excellent graphics
-very good mechanics
-full fun given the content of more than 230 species + 25 fishing spots, everything is accessible without being VIP or Premium, numerous activities, competitions, tournaments, individual classification, clan.
- various ways of fishing, fedder, spinning, casting, float, fly fishing; trolling
-a workshop
-you can do everything just with the base game.
-2 to 4 updates per month or even more
-fast and efficient reactivity and interactivity of the developer
-several events in the years, Christmas, spring, halloween, autumn ect...
frankly if you like fishing you must at least try this game, for me it is above phishing pasnet (too arcade and too much to sell you completely useless things, not to mention the autocratic despot who is responsible for this game)
and compared to the excellent RF4, I would say that Fisher online does not cost you a kidney and an arm to play it.

so for all the reasons invoke FISHER ONLINE NUMBER ONE

i am not to good at long posts explaining stuff but imo this is the best fishing game out of them all , and the only game i know of that has managed to do fly fishing really well , it has great atmosphere/graphics , pretty decent fights , loads of venues , loads of fish species , lot's of tackle and the dev clearly has talent.

On the other hand i cannot stand FP and i have no idea why it is so popular.

I used to fish loads when i was younger , mostly match fishing with pole and waggler with a little pike fishing now and then , so i would hope my opinion has some merit.

I also think Fisher Online is the best fishing game currently very realistic may the developer who is very dedicated keep up this wonderful work.

I have many hours in both of them and it will take me a very long post to highlight the differences , so I will just say in short that in my opinion Fisher Online is currently the best fishing game available and have been for some time now.

It's simply the best fishing game. Unlike Fp, you can catch fish anywhere and they also migrate and sometimes change their preferred food. You don't have to hit a very specific point to catch any particular fish. You can use the entire body of water and not just a small area. Of course there are better and worse areas for certain fish, but that's the same in RL

I like both, some features of both games i would like in both. Why?

Not the go play another game thing, but just to fish my favorite fishing spots in each game with the tackle/mechanics/features of the other.

Like the ability to drift/troll with the 7 rod space of fishing planet/the fisherman with a boat that has at least 7 rod holders for catfish. or bank fish as the same

7 fishing lines on fisher online... already with 3 we don't know how to catch all the fish that bite in certain fishing areas, I think the bite rate is not comparable at all, and even if Woolf put 7 doors rod it should decrease the rate of bites to make you happy to have 7 fishing line, as well stay with 3 and that it bites well everywhere with all the types of fishing present in the game, for me the balance is perfect in the game; )

Hell yes, 3 rods is more than enough. 7 rods would be like industry fishing online with trawls

I quit FP F2P when The Fisherman came out, and started to play this very early on when it still needed a lot of work, but I was shocked when I came back a few months ago to see the amazing progress Wolff has made.

This game is on par with RF4 mechanically, much better graphically, and has a much more reasonable price point for "extras".

This is currently the best "overall" fishing game/sim on the market.

It's basically a different game. FP is an arcade game where you can enjoy easy level-ups and easy farming, in other words, taking a few hours of rest a day, and there aren't many endgame content, so I quit after level 80.
In conclusion, it's not a bad game, but as a hard player, I don't know when I'll play it again.

I've played a lot of the fishing games out there and I have to say that this is the best I have come across, tbh I wish I had found it when it was released. Try it, enjoy it and love it like loads of others
