I would prefer to have frogs as quest rewards instead of fish meat (pieces) which could be easily made by player

The Frogs in Belarrus definitely needs a buff. It takes a long time to farm some frogs there and France is very far away for a casual player to reach level 18.

69 frogs and 142 bait from 4:30 am to 9:30 pm Belarus

and at night you only do frogs
but it's long, because you only catch that

I would like to see a detailed video on how to do that. Even with 3 rods only targeting frogs I am lucky if I get 1 in an in-game hour. And at night I don't get ANY frogs there at all.

That's what I already use. 3 of them at the same time and very very few frogs

fishing at the edge have really taken a lot (bait and frog)

Yep, very first map, just at the edge of the water (seems to not really matter where), 30 cm float or even feeder, hook 0, bloodworm or fly. Get frogs while you get bait fish.

Later on you can also catch them on the side while fly fishing. I have gotten quite a lot of frogs while fishing for pond trout in france.
