Fish always stays on the Spot on mostly same timeframe ( Night or Day) So you seem to do something wrong. Right Bait right tackle is important too.
@Whitehaven is right, it had to be a matter of time because now I finally caught some molluscs and leech.
Others are saying that fish change points and bait preference every week :/
My proof to you is all lakes or rivers will have somewhere named something like for example "chub hollow", "Carp alley" "Tench Bowl", "Bream Pit" or other affectionate names. Why are they named well obviously because those species live there permanently . Also on any fishing tournaments there will always be the desired peg numbers to draw which hold the big shoals of fish and these do not change. If people keep telling you the same thing over and over they will hope you will believe it's true in the end. Please remember the creators of these titles have a bare minimum knowledge of angling if any at all so take a lot of the so called real life habits of fish with a pinch of salt.
Fish might not bite because they are not hungry but in a game I doubt that mechanic is even used. If you are an avid angler IRL just forget everything you know because it does not transfer over to the game . Just treat it as a game and not a simulation of fishing which it is a million miles away from and to be fair if it were a sim a lot of people wouldn't play it. So it has to cater for all people whilst loosely sticking to the narrative.
100% FJM1948 I just don't like being lied to. Nothing has been done at all with the fish strength if anything its worse. Fish of 4 kg pulling the drag out on 30 kg set ups with the drag on 18 is just beyond a joke and shows you how overpowered the fish are. The balance should be exactly the opposite. For every single lb of force a fish uses in a fight the exact same amount of force is put upon the fish and is why at the end of any fight when you land them they are exhausted and have to be carefully returned giving them time to recover.
In game the fish do not tire the only fact you can get them in is by the most prehistoric method of fishing using the pump and wind action . Yeah it is a great method on Marlin but it's not used on normal fish because it is unnecessary they aren't big enough to need that kind of handling. 43 kg rated gear can handle fish way in excess of 200kg IRL why are these games all the same absolutely no understanding whatsoever about fighting mechanics and fish versus gear strength. Don't get me started on the actual fish behaviour during the fight . Pike bobbing up and down like bottles in a tsunami and fish coming from the depths of the sea to then start jumping out of the water. Comical really. I guess that's called progress when you listen to muppets who think they know something about angling when in reality they are gamers and know jack
Russian players have been complaining about Chinese, Chinese - German, and only the Germans anyone not complain, and confidently hold 1-2 finish in the top rankings.
There they fight to the last meter, here they get pulled up easily.
that was you choice to do all this work and only yours, fish in game change location after some time
What is the problem?
