Taimen in Siberia tips

Hi all ,

What is a good lure ( not the tokens one , the tokens one is way too expensive ) and location to get Taimen in Siberia. I am struggling to get these guys.

You guys suggested Asp 2, to the right (south) of the docks close to the island shallow side. Ill try there.

Any other lure working? I tried twistnord 2, the blue and orange 6m deep lures, the rubber yellow/green lure, nothing worked for me. Only bottom fishing gets me fish here and there. I tried drifting and spin fishing from dock and the island into the deep end.

The best lure for me ( for the other species , not Taimen ) is the 4gr Mars spinner ( Buy it at Poland ) in the deep water doing normal spinning from boat. That's the only thing that yielded some results for me. Caught some nice mix bag of fish with that.
Spinning from shore at this lake has never worked well for me. Only the deep water from boat yields some results for me.

Thanks, Ill buy the 4gr Mars spinner then and give it a shot.

CRL DG-M2 and WOB Shad-F1 are also working good

Mouse wobbler from the dock either upstream or downstream parallel to the shore and also out into the main river either side of the tin boat. Night or day, you can't fail to catch. Keep the rubber boat handy and be prepared for a long chase. If you can't afford this lure try the asp II or a big spoon. Had around a dozen Taimen to 88 lbs tonight doing this, plus some nice Lenok.
