V.I.P.
Hi all.
Does anyone else find it strange that we had to pay for the game and there's still a VIP option, which is normally reserved for ftp games?

Personally, I would have preferred to have paid £30 for the game and get the benefits of VIP included.

I'm not criticising the actual game here, the game is very good but I'm struggling to get my head around this aspect.

What do other players think??

I think that the max fishery is level 26. So after that the grind is pretty much over.

I believe the game was meant to be played at a slow enough pace to get your moneys worth of time out of it. So the standard xp and silver was what it should be. Naturally others just want to rush to the top fishery / gear. So for those people there is a very cheap temporary boost for those that want it.

At level 26 I imagine the standard silver you earn will be enough to continue to buy bait / replace broken stuff so once you get there the need for VIP goes out the window.

I must be honest I have bought VIP but it does seem a bit weird :)

Nothing strange. Sooner or later, the sales of the game will end. Fishing is a very amateur genre, millions of teenagers will not stay here. Therefore, the game must contain the infrastructure, salaries for employees, the development of new mechanics and fishing spots. Therefore, the VIP.

let's be realistic :)

before you start

my opinion is that of the player, I am a player above all, otherwise I would not be here;)

I agree with the opinion of Woolf, 100% on this point, I wish this game remains a few years, and have improvements, news, more content.

but one day the sales will be stable and if no return of money, the game RIP sooner or later.

Even though Woolf is passionate about fishing, he must also earn a living.

d other game have changed the economic system several times, we saw what this provoked ...

d other innode game of DLC, have is for or against ...

d other game forces the sale of subscription sometimes even excessively expensive!

the most correct system is the premium system, to auto finance the game.

to finish 5 euro? the price is very attractive, is not it? Other games offer this system at much higher prices, and nothing requires you to buy.

No its perfect for me how it is.

At $5 a month I will continue to buy it but I can't think of any other game that does it this way.

I'm very happy with the game anyway and I'm not trying to cause trouble, I just wondered what other players thought :)

as long as the players are not ripped off like in other fishing games (...) im fine with it

I do like the idea of paid VIP for those that want it, and the game is generous enough so you don't *really* need it. Good price and it benefits a great developer.
I think about this.... if Atom Fishing II never had paid VIP... then Woolf wouldn't have the money to make this game... so it is thanks to ongoing paid VIP that keeps the awesome development going.
Imagine, maybe 5 years from now when Woolf does his next game, thanks to the VIP from theFisher Online.
Personally, I want an open world fishing game with amazing graphics (like Far Cry 5, Generation Zero, Assassin's Creed Odyssey environments) and just fish in the lakes and rivers and oceans...
I can dream can't I? :steamhappy:

Personally I would like to be able to disable the benefits of a VIP account.

I'm interested in supporting the game rather than increasing what ever it increases and would turn them off if I could.

That's fine for me, I pay for a game and decide how to move forward, if I want to go faster I pay a subscription that only influences the experience and the money you get fishing.

Everyone has the option to choose, I personally enjoy fishing at my own pace and for me the subscription is not something that appeals to me.

But if in the future there is new additional content, of quality, that is of payment, I will be willing to pay for it if the price is fair and for now I am very happy with the development of the game and the maneuvers that the creator of the game takes.

Something that would not support would be that those who had the subscription obtained additional advantages to the rest of the players in terms of number of bites, trophies, etc., that would be a step back from my point of view, but I think that for now we must be calm in that appearance.

Thank you for reading everything if you reached the end.

;)

VIP system is great
Woolf needs money to make new content, and he also needs money for food.
he made this wonderfull game for us, and now we have to thank him with VIP.
a lot of games on the market are using this system. and its okay.
and when he decide to bring out some DLC, i will buy them !
i'm a real fisher too, and thats a lot higher in prices :D
so 5$ a month to get some bonus ? i say YES
in fishing planet, u pay for everything. then u stand on a spot for ages with time control. boom unique.
RF4, u pay for everything, then u stand on a spot for ages, and boom no fish hahahaha
The Fisher, u pay once time for a great game, with optional vip for 5$ A MONTH not a week :)
fishes are moving, so u have to move too, and thats what i really love
we can catch any fish at any position.
we have to look around for the big ones and thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome cause it will never be boring to hunt the next record.
yes there is the Fisherman what u pay once with no vip.
buuut yes, same as fishing planet. go to spot, choose right time, boom unique xD
thats boring.

i played every fishing game in the past, but this is the first one where i forgot to eat or using my bed :D
