Spirit Witch build?
Was looking for some tips. I am not sure what to pick first. So far plan is:

Totem, Into the shadows, Sherpa x 10
or not sure
Totem, Unit Slot x 2, Sherpa x 5

I was thinking to go into Mind Control and Phantom skills for sure.

I am not sure how good Bewitched is. Never tried to invest every point into it which seams kinda necessary. Bewitch + Witchcraft seam necessary to get Dread Bolt to be good? And need good Dread Bolt to make final showdown good? Is final showdown even worth it?

Lightning Bolt and Mind Control seam like a must.

I have a problem with totem. Everyone seam to ignore it, wtf? I thought only Bosses did that which is why you need into the shadows?

Dread bolt must be increased all the way. Mind control too. Hard to explain, trust me, those skills are absolute killer late game, just max them. There will be a point you never have to go invisible anymore because you too strong offensively speaking.

No, no need for lightning bolt or any skill from that tree. You want the fire tree. Then maybe the blizzard tree. You need items to reduce your CD instead of skills. Roll for CD reduction for good equipment.

The + magic attack and reduced damage taken skills from lightning are pretty nice. The first lightning spell does heavy single target damage with a short cooldown and low cost, which helps the witch win her duels more quickly and snipe enemy officers.

Dreadbolt is good because of terror, which works on almost everything except some boss fights.

Mind control is good for dealing tons of damage to units which can't be controlled and switching high tier enemy units to your side during the battle. Don't count on its +passive to do anything though, since your units or the enemy will often kill it long before it can kill something on its own.

Phantom is the killer spell for spirit witch, especially if you can find a weapon with a powerful on hit effect which can stack. Getting 3 copies of yourself with all the same passives and gear attacking an enemy can be utterly devastating.

All the other active skills spirit witch has are poop. I wouldn't put skill points into them unless you have literally nothing else to spend them on. Go find some more arcana or legacy skills instead.

Totem has become really weird after it was nerfed. I'd recommend taking fire elemental instead. When you put 3 skill points into it, it summons a greater fire elemental. Even if the enemy ignores it and chases you, it will deal severe burning damage to them while you run around.

The mind control, with all its passive maxed, will resurrect the unit killed by the mind controlled unit and fight for the player. It is not obvious from the skill description but it is the most op skill in the war.

There is a gold colored bow in the flower town guarded by the guardian, if you manage to roll the conversion of physical damage to magical damage prefix, it will become the strongest weapon for the 3 phantom.

The 25% reduction to damage skill in the lightning arcana tree is powerful. You can use the flames to enchant aegis on your armor and invincibility on both your accessory and your mount, and then use an armored horse mount, and if you wear armor with innate magic resist you end up with over 100% physical resist and close to 100% magic resist.

The alchemy arcana is strong on a character that can vanish. i made a Nameless character with the bounty hunter and spirit witch trees and learned alchemy arcana and here's a screenshot of the post battle results against Ludo Khan. Throw fire potion, vanish. Throw fire potion, vanish.

No need to throw fire potion, just wear the armor that burns your surrounding, and maybe add the fire spear to the burn dmg. Good for early to mid game, but late game the 3 phantom will be very absurd.(if you build it right)

Either game has been changed since or this person likes to tell things that are VERY OBVIOUSLY wrong to ruin someones builds for fun. I've tested all the spirit witch skills and this one is the most useless one.

The problem with this skill is both in small and large fights is the enemy is still treated as hostile and will be attacked and killed by your party either directly or through AOE effects. Even with the boost in damage it gets, and even if you charm a strong unit, it still dies either to early or managed at best take down one unit before being dispatched and this unit is then bowman or some crap that then dies in 0.5 seconds anyway.
