My feedback on this fight, as an older player who has decent skill but isn't a teenage twitch-reflex player anymore, is this is too much. It felt unfair and capricious, and when I won I felt like it was dumb luck too. Should probably be adjusted -- either the boss's strong attacks should have more warning and opportunity to evade, or they should be toned down in damage.
And, um, he shouldn't be able to attack on frame 1 after the load screen disappears, not when I'm right next to him.
The way i got around this, was using 3 caster companions rather than melee, and having myself charge in, grab the aggro and dodge up and down on the other side of it so it's attacks didn't hit my team. This was easier to do with blade dancer, funny enough, seeing as how i feel like blade dancer is severely gimped and underpowered in comparison to so many other classes. The mobility, and keeping the attacks off my team was what won it for me.
it's hard on your own, if you recruit 3 characters it's cake
This boss annihilated my level 20 heros, so no.
At the time i took on this boss before, i was using 4~7 legendary equipment (at level 20). Horrendous. Coming back to it with level 15~17 legendary equipment, I killed this thing in about 5 seconds from mission start, only taking about 15% health damage across my team.
Hero level actually plays very little into potency. What matters is your composition and even more importantly, equipment.... Lesson of the day though... Don't neglect that equipment. It's not just a "slight boost", it makes or breaks you.
That's good to hear. Do you think you could give us a bit more detail about your party composition and gear by any chance?
