Voice commands wont work. Unable to progress.
Every time I speak it only gets one or two words if I'm lucky. "Create a ball" = Hall. "CREATE A ball" = Eight tall. "CREATE A BALL" = Mate. "CREATE A FLIPPING BALL" = Ducking Ball.

I said something about that before, too; the communication is very bad. That should be their next update.
Fix what's actually broken and stop adding new stuff until you do.

Hi, sorry to hear you're having issues with voice. Have you gone to the in-game menu > presence > voice calibration to check if your mic is properly calibrated?

The voice comes in clearly, but the words don't process if that makes any sense. It's like one of those badly translated Japanese-to-English films or games.

The sentences are often broken up or they make no sense when it was or should have been clear what you were trying to say. Even speaking clearly into the mic, properly calibrated, it makes no difference.

Many times, I have to say the same sentence more than three times because the dialogue that you created was very different from what you said and it's quite annoying. Skully just thinks you've lost your mind because he has no idea what you're talking about.

If you turn on Voice Reverb (in the Presence menu), does the audio play back clearly?

Sentences being broken up is often an indicator of a too sensitive voice calibration (slider too much to the left).

Can you make sure again that the voice calibration is set as follows:
position the slider so it's right to the green bar when there is silence, but left to the green bar when you are speaking.

A good voice calibration is similar to what can be seen in this gif[i.imgur.com]

Let us know if that helps or not, we'll be happy to assist you further if that doesn't help.

I am playing (or trying to) on the steam deck and I have the same problem. I even did the calibration and have the reverb on so that I can listen and hear myself talk and such but it takes many many tries to get any of the commands to work. Now I will be fair and say that I do have a deep accent so maybe that is affecting it but even then no matter how hard I try it doesn't work

This could simply be due to a strong accent in English. You just have to make sure that you pronounce phrases very clearly and with an American accent. If there really isn't a problem with the mic or something else with the audio, then that's the only one reason

Had this issue as well. Got bored because of the problems with voice recognition.
