i need to be able to select an input device

i love this game but it never connects to the right microphone. When im in VR it connects to my webcam, when im in screen mode it connects to my oculus' mic. please PLEASE im begging the creators to make it so i can pick my input device directly in the game.

I had the same problem, so I changed the audio input settings from within my computers volume control settings and Input devices. I hope this helps fix your issue.

I'm at a loss why there is no device selector, for some reason, one day it changed it to my headset, not the Oculus mic. I thought surely that would be added in the next update, but still nothing. I can't play until they do this. :c

Hi sorry about this issue, are you trying to change your mic input device via the Windows Settings > System > Sound > Volume Mixer > Input Device?

im having the same problem when im on desktop, it thinks im trying to use my valve index mic and i agree it would be nice to have the ability to change the input

completely agree, being able to switch audio inputs is required for games that use the microphone. relying on your playerbase to switch their default to their VR microphone manually is horrible
