In what way does the game support shared/split screen co-op?

Hi! We have what's called 'Troll Mode' - where a player at the computer can control the Skull, fly around and shoot projectiles.

How is the skull controlled? Keyboard + mouse or gamepad?

Then call it troll mode and not coop… kinda scam…
