I reconstrunct the solution from the hint.


You start from -Maxwell- 2-2-UP
Pass throw -Nicholas- 2-3-L
Arrive to -Edith- (false beard) 2-4-R
Pass throw -nobody- 2-3-DW
Arrive to -nobody- (same show woman) 4-4-UP
Pass throw -Jacob- 4-3-R
Pass throw -nobody- 4-2-L
Arrive to -nobody- (director) 4-1-UP
Arrive to -nobody- (director's wife) 5-1-DW

I tried to reconstruct the issue but is not from a confusion right-left or a seats numeration error. I think they have to label set again 3 seats tickets and registration (on the book)


Victor (maybe director) from 2-1 to 4-1
Olivia (maybe director's wife) from 1-1 to 5-1
Becky from 5-2 to 4-4

With this modifications the problem has a correct solution. With the "false beard" Edith in 2-4 as a little high level difficult
