Does this game have escalating difficulty levels like StS?

Or only like 1-3 difficulty levels? StS has 21....part of what makes it so replayable!

So I hear, yes, but word is that since the latest patch, compared to games like StS, it's a bit on the easy side although it can get pretty crazy in its Ascended replays.

Anyone have more solid information about it? It sucks they dumbed down the game's difficulty level. Easy games are no fun (or are they in China? Meh).

I saw in another thread somebody said "might level 8 or 12" implying there's at least 12 or 13 difficulties, but everyone else refers to it as Ascendancy (I mean, they literally copied the same word from StS for everything else like so why not?) so that's reassuring, I guess. I just wish there was more info on this.

Yes, this game seems like a somewhat combo between StS and Artifact or Hearthstone, but not in a bad way. It seems good. I'll probably buy it here soon.

It says it in their EA description that each hero has 20 difficulty levels.
