Though while card-collecting and deck-building are essential elements of those games, the actual fighting is done in real-time, with you drawing from your deck every 15-seconds-or-so to figure out what attacks you'll have available in the next 15 second "turn".

Pokemon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy Color is one I've always considered a classic. There's also a Japan-only sequel that has an English-translated ROM.
There's also Yu-Gi-Oh Worldwide Edition - Stairway To The Destined Duel on the GBA, which I've always considered one of the best singleplayer adaptations of YGO, as well as YGO The Sacred Cards and YGO Reshef Of Destruction, tho from what I remember those latter two do some weird simplifications with the YGO ruleset that make the gameplay worse rather than better.
