Card I've never seen manifest before, Act 1...
Been doing another playthrough from a full restart, trying to find stuff I hadn't yet (mainly lines from Leshy I hadn't seen yet), and in doing so I found a card in his cabin I've never encountered before.

I was really tired and a bit drunk so I didn't think to grab a screenshot, but after a few victories and quite a few defeats of Leshy *without* freeing the Stunted Wolf I was wandering his cabin and found a card on top of the crate under the collection of survivor totems next to the safe. It hasn't manifested in my deck, even after another victory and defeat.

Anyone know about this later Leshy's cabin card? As I said before, it was on a new replay, so no Kaycee's Mod.

Again, on top of the crate UNDER the shelf with the safe and survivor figurines. A quick search turned up nothing useful.

(edit: it was a crate, not a barrel)

Oh, yeah. When I clicked it I got the static/glitch effect. Seemed important.

Availability of the card appearing is only dependent on the amount of figurines are there, once enough figurines are there, the card spawns

I kind of forgot if it was tied to campfire survivor kills not the creatures being destroyed by chance or based on your deaths which causes the figurines to pile up, but it's one of them

There's no real significant impact on the game other than hidden lore, which whenever you progress further into the game you can come across your answer about the card, if you interact with the right secrets available

Thanks, Truth! I have some pretty decent ideas of where to look for that lore.
Just confirmed it's NOT the campfire survivors, as they only just ate the spoiler. Might be able to save time by combining player deaths with the poor schmucks eating bad food... but I was slowrunning the game so I dunno.

(edit: I think the bad food got nerfed. even after the campfire peeps ate it, the next run they were back. I thought the bad food got them permanently. I've grabbed the film now so I can't test it deeper this run. My understanding may have been flawed, as I've never bothered serving bad food before. Do different bad foods bad differently? Or did an update change things?)

No, the campfire has always been that way, but in Kaycee's mod it's nerfed to a maximum of 2 upgrades instead of 4

Regarding the method of the campfire & bad food, Ring Worm or anything with Touch of Death would kill them just for that singular run, if you die, they always have returned, but any later campfires during that singular run will be free 4 upgrades every time, whether it's health or damage

Ah, okay... thought the effect was like a lesser Oro (in that it was restricted to one act). I just never bothered, this has been the most patience I've exercised in a run.

Thanks! (edit: not the most powerful deathcards I've made, but the most numerous and the most synergistic)

Here's what I found on the wiki:
,,On the right of the door are the statuettes, and the safe. Beneath these are several wooden crates, and in some circumstances a Tarot Card will appear there."
What is a Tarot Card: (mild spoiler for Act 3)
,, Tarot Cards are a mechanic in Act III. When you give the Trader in the side room Holo Pelts, she shows you them. Each has a cryptic message relating to the ARG. "
Well my ideas about where the extra lore could be found was wrong, but as this game is a few years old that doesn't matter. Thank you both!
