I'm curious, has anyone found the actual limit for sigils you can put on a card?

This might be somewhat confusing to clarify. Normally you can only sigil swap a card once, and tend to get no more than 4 sigils on a card as a result but you can continue to stack sigils via mycologist merges as well and I'm curious if anyone has found the full total limit a card can support. So far I've managed to get this far personally (kaycee's mod, cave trial critters merged, didnt find another mycologist to continue this abomination with despite having an additional ant queen with unkillable on it that could have made this even worse):

not that I am aware, I had like....I want to say 6? (get 2 king fishers, give them other cards that have 2 sigils each) don't forget totems!

actually....nvm there should not be a limt because if you get another copy of that card you can only give it to the mushroom dude

i figure it eventually runs out of places to put more sigils on the card, I just havent found how many sigils it takes to get to that point.

Im curious about the sigils but on death cards. I found of that there is a limit filter on it unfotunately. I did 8 runs on the original inscryption with Leshy. Tried to figure out and or stack most sigils I could get. on the 8th one I had a card with I think 5 sigils and no other card with a sigil. With excitment I died on a random battle and to my dissapointment the death card creation has completely denied me. When I gave up on 12 health turtle and when to cost section I saw the only card with multiple sigils. My heard stopped and my eyes were wide open with suprising result. I continued hoping for it to not be true but the game just pulled a middle finger and didn't let me choose any sigil. I am MAD. I understand that the game might not enjoy like what 20 sigils on one card but COME ON. In the game were I could've made a 106/106 uroboros I can't get more then 2 sigils on a memento mori.
