Update is constantly failing on steam

Just wanted to point out that I was able to play yesterday and know I am running into an issue where inscryption keeps trying to update but keeps failing.

Due to this, I'm unable to play the game. Is there an update that was pushed that needs to update the game?

Unfortunately this is causing the game not to load. Anyone else having the same problem on steam?

Hey there suburbhermit!

We have recently started receiving reports about this issue and it appears that you can solve the problem by reinstalling Steam. Since the game has been using the same batch which has gone live 2 years ago, we assume this is caused by a recent change on Steam's Cloud settings. Make sure to transfer your files elsewhere so that you won't have to download them again!

happened to me as well now, trying deleting the game and installing it again, but nothing, only with the Kaycee mod
