Cuckoo + fecundity = lol
just sac'ing it to itself to fill every spot on the board, the fire pits adding power only make it quicker

Yeah, Cuckoo is one of the top tier card.

i've done that before and it usually works out quite well - until you end up giving the opponent actual eggs, then it's a bit harder to deal with. if you can mycologist something like the rabbits or bifuricated strike onto it it works even better.

if you give them a power boost, or the warren sigil as well, it's unstoppable. you can force 4 on the board on turn one if you get one.

and raven egg takes 2 turns to hatch, that's two turns of 4 damage you can deal, leshy doesnt stand a chance

Fecundity is just broken in general, it makes most of the cards in the game completely broken. On any 1 cost card it is infinite bones and creatures, on either 0 cost unit it's unlimited sacrifices and blocks. That's before even looking at how broken it is with other sigils, if you have Fec with the free item pack rat sigil on a 1 cost unit, it is literally unlimited free items on top on unlimited free bones.

It really should be nerfed because it ruins all tension from runs you get it in, there is no chance to lose if you draw your card with it. If it gave a copy without the copy having Fec (so no infinite chains) it would still be a great sigil, as of right now it is the most fun-ruining effect in the game.

Why block the enemy if you can just do 12 dmg without using blood with a simple Geck that has seen 1 camp?

well you dont get more than two fire boosts per camp in kaycees mod, and cuckoo is a kaycee mod only item.

Mod adds bunch of stronger common gecks actually so you no longer even want to look for rares honestly.

well you dont get more than two fire boosts per camp in kaycees mod, and cuckoo is a kaycee mod only item.

You just take your 3/1 Geck with the Field Mice sigil, and then you play 4 Geck without cost. No need for more than 2 fire boosts. It's not like the trapper still exists. Played my ~5th run today with no trapper and only the 2 fixed traders...

Agreed. I've been trying to think about how they could balance some of the outlier cards. Since Fecundity is related to...well, reproduction, it should maybe function like the wolfcub/elk fawn sigil, where it has to stay alive one turn on the board before the new card spawns in your hand, emphasizing that it's gotta take a little time to get jiggy with it.

Ouroboros (honestly even the deathless sigil itself) is another problem. Perhaps a similar solution could help, having a one turn delay before you get the card back.
At the very least, Ouroboros should absolutely reset its stats after a fight. As great as having the godly card is, it's a nightmare to balance.

Another thing I ran into was the insect totem. Give your insects the beehive sigil, and you create bees that give you more bees every time they're hit. So long as you have 4 insect cards, you have unlimited 1/1 bees on the board. It's definitely not as broken as other things, but it did allow me to cheese a run where I beat all challenges at once. The bosses spawned 4/6 grizzlies, but I had infinite bees to wear them down.

I will say this, however: if the outliers get balanced, the game NEEDS more powerups. I readily admit Fecundity is the game winner, NOT having these broken combos basically means complete failure. There needs to be more room for "chalk" decks to succeed.

a fun combo ive been doing is taking the alpha skill and moving it to a daus, opr beavewr ^^
it buffs to left amnd right, it also works well on warren and other situaitons for props.

I will never understand why anyone would use any 2 or 3 blood card... But then again, i will never understand why people say that the game is hard. I lost the first 2 rounds i tried, because i completely forgot how to play, and won every run after that, without any problems. Except one, where the last boss had like... 3 mantis gods with skulls and a moleman... THAT was a tiny bit tricky, but luckily i paid attention to my skinwalker and then he beat phase 2 and 3 alone...

2 Bloods have some good sigils and do not really break your hand if you draw them, 3/4 bloods you pretty much take for stats so you can slap maggots on or make use of extra goats in deck if you have bunch of them.
