What the ♥♥♥♥ is Ijiraq?

For people that haven't encountered it, it's like a skinwalker esq. creature that seems to take forms of other animals from you cards and is immune to damage from opposite card. I really have no clue HOW does it appear, but it seems to be rather random or when you unlock the card from Kaycee's mod that has "?" at the end, like "Mole Man?", however picking that card makes it literally disappear, or at least that's what happened to me when i picked that sort of card.

Basically that is exactly what the new rare card does，taking place of a rare boss loot and make it glow red light，when picked is not add into your deck and，during later half of the game，randomly changing your played creature into that horrible ijiraq mess with a fair stats.（Of cause it is great to let weaker animals turn into this 4/1 unattackable stuff but it can be really frustrating if one of your OP animals you make turns into this）

I am very confused about the other rare card “Pelt Lice”，A 4-blood-cost 1/1 card is ridiculous. Although I later discover that it is automatic played from your hand if you play a pelt but that seems far from being a rare card.

The card doesn't actually disappear, it instead disguises itself as another card in your deck until it is played. You can spot it by switching in and out of previewing your deck and seeing which card changes appearance. I once ended up with 2 of them and it appeared as Ijiraq in my hand and still played the swapping animation when I played it.

I noticed that if a totem is affecting a card that Ijiraq pretending to be it will also get the sigil.

OK, thank you for pointing that out! By the way after a 2-minute research on the internet this weird stuff is basically a monster that is able to shift its shape and kidnaps children in the Inuit culture. that explains why it will disguise as one of your cards.

I see... appriciate the replies. Was surprised when i stumbled upon it a few times, mostly i thought it could have been some sort of secret regarding higher difficulty ladder, still a pretty neat thing nontheless.

I stumbled upon it once and thought it was because I sacced a pelt to the bonelord.

Now I do recall various times where some boss cards had a red glow to them.

As another note about it, if it disguises itself as a creature with variable power (an ant or a tentacle; I've only actually seen it with tentacles so far, but I can't imagine why ants would work differently), then it'll add whatever power that creature has to its own.
