Ijiraq
After unlocking the 4th Devlog I began noticing a strange new creature appearing in my runs. Since details are scarce this is an attempt to compile information. Do not read further unless you want spoilers.

- Ijiraq is a 4/1 with the 'Repulsive' sigil, the same mechanic used on the 'Starvation' enemies you encounter once you've run out of cards.
- The card depicts a malformed horror with glowing red eyes when in play, but will disguise itself as another card while in your hand and deck. It's casting cost will correlate to the disguised card.
- Ijiraq cannot be drafted by choice, as it is always disguised as another card.
- You can tell if you have Ijiraq in your deck by reviewing your deck in the map screen, as
it will transform into a different card every time you check.

My initial theory was that this strange new card was tied to the 'Mole Man?' card, as both depict a creature with red eyes. However I've currently only drafted Mole Man? once relative to the several times Ijiraq has made an appearance, leading me to believe the card may be bugged. Mole Man? seems guaranteed to spawn an Ijiraq when you draft it, but I've only had this happen once.

I grabbed a Child 13? on one run and it appeared. So I'm guessing it disguises itself as a random (rare) card but with a question mark at the end. And once you grab it, it either takes over a card in your deck hiddenly, or disguises itself as one?

I love all the obscurity in this game.

Mine showed up on an experimented Elk Fawn.

I got it on an unmodified moose buck just now sooo...

edit: just checked my deck and one of them had red eyes. The other one doesn't. Mb.

Ijiraq is actually 'Mole Man?', but it can also be any other card with a ? at the end of its name that can be drafted. Basically, every card that has a ? in its name is actually Ijiraq in disguise.

If the card has red eyes and/or the name ends with a ?, that's ijiraq. Once you grab that card, it may not stay as the card you originally obtained it as (like a "mole man?") but that's how you tend to pick it up. I get an ijiraq version of rares at least once a run (if i have boss rares on) and it can apparently be pretty much any rare when you find it, I was personally surprised when a boss offered me 2 ouroboros cards out of my 3 choices because one of those ouroboros cards was actually ouroboros? (aka, ijiraq). This last bit might be observer bias, but it does seem like I get a much greater chance of running into ijiraq with boss rares than i do with golden pelt trades though. Totally possible that has something to do with me avoiding trapper/trader like a plague unless im playing the egg deck though.

I've only gotten the first two devlogs, and picked this guy up after a boss fight as a Geck? with red eyes. Playing with the blood starter deck. I wonder if that makes a difference?
i got one from (i think) a mole man, but it happened two other times with the same card
