There are plenty of people who have beat it, so it can be done. If you are getting stuck, maybe take a small break, and come back at it fresh and reconsider what strategies you are using.
But again, explore the entire cabin if you haven't already done so.
Also keep in mind that dying is part of it. And, ofc, the more you play to more strategies you develop to counter ♥♥♥♥ luck.
Yes, however I also found a disappointing finding the shuffles of the cards doesn't change when playing the match again.
This means the matches are not random on the cards, and some are meant to loose so you can get a new improvement and at some point you will win because of the improvements and unlocked abilities with the second layer of the game to obtain more things.
I will keep playing but this was a major disappointment.
When I realized if you beat the boss without having found the film first it's even worst than loosing, and that without any kind of warning whatsoever, I just wanted to erase the game.
I have to say it's kind of incredible that it got that much success. I am happy for the developper who made a radical game that obviously found its public but it is still mysterious to me.
You start with only cards with bones or 3 drops of blood, you loose without having been able to play a single card (literally). Don't tell me it's about skills.
Just like in any other card game skill can help mitigate the risk, and leverage on your luck. But unlike other card games you don't loose an hour of your time just because you were unlucky once.
