so im not sure if anyone else found this but if you sacrifice the cat 9 times at least in the second act im not sure about the first one but it will turn into an undead cat and it will have 3 attack and 6 defense

Most of the many lives critters have another form when you sacrifice them too many times in one match (regardless of act). Some of those forms are unique to specific critters though, and not all of them are beneficial (some may also cause "permanent" changes to that card). If I recall right, the only one that doesn't fall victim to this event is actually found in act 2, the Pharaoh's Pets card (they may already be undead, so maybe that's why?).

To be fair, if you keep the cat alive for '9' sacrafices, that in alone is an achievement... most times when i used the cat during act 1, i barely got to use it more than 2 or 3 times

but i love the little nod to the cat having 9 lives hense why you can sacrafice it multiple times and still keep the cat...
